The Human Field Around the Seeker

The inward journey is tested not only in solitude, but in the human field around us.

After the seeker has gone inward, he must stand among people again. Family, colleagues, students, teams, old loyalties, wounded minds, loving minds, blaming minds, and dependent minds all become part of the field. Movement Six asks how the seeker remains compassionate without becoming available for every projection, how he helps without replacing another person’s dharma, and how he acts inside roles without being possessed by them.

The seeker learns that other people’s pain must be seen with compassion, but not always obeyed, absorbed, explained, or allowed into the inner sanctum.

This movement is not a withdrawal from people. It is a cleaner return to them.
